 Small, intimate, comfortable resort. The rooms are nice overall, although the bathroom in our room was in desperate need of renovation. The staff is friendly and responsive. The buffet breakfast was very good. They offer both American/Continental and Asian food. Location-wise, this is as good as it gets on Karon beach. The resort is right across the street from the beach. There is a security guard on duty to help you cross the sometimes busy road.There is a spa at the hotel offering reasonably priced traditional Thai massage and beauty treatments. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel. - 07-Sep-2005 Visit ocurred three weeks after Tsunami so hotels, restaurants, etc were deserted. This is our fourth visit to Thailand. Housekeeping in hotel needs to improve. After making up our room for the day, we had to call the front desk for toilet paper, bottled water, soap; they did immediately respond to our request, but I don''t think we should have had to call for such items. We dropped something which rolled under our bed, and when we looked the dirt and dust was unbelievable. Keep in mind, the hotel was almost empty, so the hosekeeping staff was not busy. This was our 4th visit to Phuket, and the breakfast buffet was very limited, compared to the other hotels we stayed in. The waiters in the restaurant were wonderful and aimed to please. The front desk was very good. Because of housekeeping we would not return to this hotel, although, we are planning to return to Phuket again next year. Location is very good, right accross from the beach, with a guard to help you cross the street. - 07-Sep-2005 A nice hotel in an excellent position very near Karon beach. The hotel has a lovely pool and offers a substantial daily breakfast. On the downside, the gym is not well-equipped, but overall it is a good mid-range hotel.- 07-Sep-2005 |
