 I stayed there with my parents and we really enjoyed our stay! Double rooms are big and nicer than singles. So I would recommend staying in a double room. They are clean and light. The food is great! The personnel is friendly and ready to help. The only disadvantage is the location, but I guess that's the reason why the price is so attractive. So if you are travelling by car - that's a very good option, 10 min drive and you are in the city center. If not by car, then think twice. The hotel is surrounded by forests and it's a wonderful view from the restaurant. So I would definitely book Soria Moria when next time in Oslo. - 20-May-2008 The hotel is fantastic - the location ideal. It is only 15 minutes from the centre but believe me it so beautiful to live there. The trains are very frequent so you can come and go any time - great place for families and with an amazing view .
I would definitely recommend- 08-May-2008 The hotel is somewhat remote. You will have to walk for about 1 km to reach the train. But you can park your car for free if you have one, which is a big plus in Oslo. Car parking is usually prohibitively expensive. The hotel is quite nice, with various Norwegian themes. In winter, you may see a lot of fog, but if not, there are some spectacular views of Oslo when driving down.- 19-Oct-2007 |
