Room very boring and tired looking considering the price - broken slats on blinds and cords snaggedso could not open to let some light in. I often stay in Somerset Hotels in Bangkok where get excellent value rooms with great amenties - sadly Somerset Darling Harbour is not of the same par. Pool area very ugly and unatmospheric - a Polar Bear would make if more exciting as it's the only animal capable of surviving the freezing water. The one big plus is location, handy to many attractions for the tourists, plus close to public transport links, both bus and rail. Unlikely to return.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were even upgraded, which was a nice touch. More tea and coffee in the room would have been nice - only had enough for 2 cups and we were there for 3 days!
