Located in the heart of the historic center, the Sofitel Hotel Vienna is only a few minutes away from the Vienna State Opera, Karntner Strasse and St. Stephans Cathedral. The Vienna concert hall and the Akademie-Theatre are also directly opposite to the hotel.

The hotel offers 7 well equipped meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 120 people for various buisness events. During leisure, guests can work out at the gymnasium or relax at the refreshing Jacuzzi and sauna.
 The hotel definitely needs renovation; its facilities, decor, bathroom, etc., reminded us of the 1980s. We had to wait in line for breakfast, the restaurant was fully booked and they refused to serve us, reception was not particularly helpful (it was even misleading). We are deeply disappointed. Considering the price we had paid, we reasonably expected better service and facilities. - 13-Dec-2006 |
