 This is an excellent hotel for an escape from the city. A dip in the pool at sunset, a walk on the beach in the moonlight, a clean, comfortable and quiet bedroom - what more could you want? As others have commented, the rooms are probably overdue for refurbishment but that certainly didn't bother us. One comes here for a quiet retreat - not to be seen in stylish surroundings.- 31-Oct-2009 A beautiful spot facing the beach in an interesting, quiet area of HK. Great for walking. Just a ferry ride to hectic Central. Cheap bus or more expensive (HK$160) taxi ride across Lantau Island to the airport. Would definitely stay again. - 04-Jan-2009 Hotel staff had to deal with unusual situation with guests sitting out a typhoon during their stay. They were very helpful and calm during the storm.
