I only gave "average" in respect of service and pricing because of my experience in trying to book an extra night. Service elsewhere in the hotel, especially room service was excellent. I went to reception to see if an extra night could be booked. I was quoted a price that was double the rate I was paying. I was told the hotel is almost full. I then found I could book the same room on-line for marginally more than I was paying. When I queried this I was told that that rate was for a junior suite and that it was like the airlines, because of the demand the price had gone up! I spoke to the reception manager the following morning, she reduced the price initially by 50% and then to the room rate I was paying. This was unnecessary and rotten customer service. I had had to complain 3 times to get any satisfaction. - 19-Oct-2007 Not very friendly staff in the Restaurant but otherwise this hotel was OK. Make sure you don't have a room on the first floor near the top of the stairs - all the noise from the foyer & reception can be heard! - 08-Sep-2007 Highly recommended. Good location, friendly and efficient service, very comfortable, although not especially large, rooms and a great buffet breakfast. The decor is somewhat uninspiring, but that's typical of any business hotel.- 05-Jul-2007 |
