Overall I had a good stay in Shezan Hotel. The service was very good. I found the reception, waiters, concierge, porters and security staff to be very polite, courteous and helpful. I believe the Shezan offers good value for money in comparison with other hotels in Doha. I would suggest that the hotel management could invest in more prominent signing to ensure the hotel is more recognisable from the street. I would suggest that they run a courtesy van or car from Doha Aiport to help guests get to the hotel more quickly.- 22-Jul-2007 The rooms (or place) is extremely run down. The room price is what I consider a rip off with no breakfast included. The Pakistani buffet lunch/ dinner spread at QR35/39 respectively is the only good feedback from me. The captain of that restaruant (the only one) is a very friendly and helpful person. Hard to get a taxi at times as it is beside a major road with no drive-in way. Mainly used by foreign workers staying for intermediate term. I would have prefered to fork out another US$20-30 for another hotel if I have known its condition. I would not go back there to stay again for sure but maybe just only to savour the authentic Pakistani cooking.- 27-Apr-2007 Very run-down rooms. Indian management is really taking advantage of shortness of hotels in Qatar. Price therefore too high.- 25-Mar-2006 |
