 As a disabled traveller it would have been nice to have offered some help to carry my bag, but none forthcoming. Hotel had been informed of disability at time of booking but no mention that rooms upstairs and no lift available.
Room very pleasant, Edwardian style fittings & furniture but lacking centre curtain & bed side light bulbs. Unable to report problems as owner had gone out & we did not return to the hotel until early hours.
Breakfast adequate, but would have been better if milk had not been solid, it was the consistency of yoghurt and obviously off!
Generally minor problems, hotel could be reasonable if customer service improved.- 16-Aug-2007 The hotel was refurbishing the dining room and the bar at the time of our stay which meant some of the facilities were not available.
