a little bit expensive considering it didn't include breakfast. However, room was nicely decorated and in Chinese style. Service was good with hotel staff friendly and helpful. - 11-Apr-2008 I stayed for 5 nights and was very glad to leave when the day came to swap hotels. The staff were cold and distant. The price is expensive for what you get. I'm sure I read this is a 4 star hotel when booking... well I'm not sure how it can claim this, it doesn't even have a kitchen for room service. The breakfast was just plain bad and definately not worth the extra money. The internet connection in the room was unreliable at times. But worst of all, the location... good luck getting a taxi driver to drop you off here. The traffic in chinatown is terrible, so no taxis wasnt to go near the place. I was outside Pantip IT Plaza and asked no less than 10 taxis to take me to the hotel, before giving up and getting on a motorbike taxi. The rooms look nice, but it's all done very cheaply - you can tell that the moment you walk into the hotel. There isn't even carpet or tiles on the floor, it's just raw concrete. You can get much better for less in Bangkok.- 13-Feb-2008 A strange place but the staff were very friendly & helpful.
Excellent value for money & about the best hotel in this area, great massage facilities, but we would never go back to this area. Very ethnic, crowded & smelly in the streets.- 02-Feb-2008 |
