Overall very good hotel in excellent location with splendid rooftop pool.
Decor in public areas is very Spanish, slightly dated, but for us this added to its charm. Rooms are pretty standard.
One member of staff (manager?) was unhelpful when we asked for info on car hire - we asked again later (to one of his colleagues) and she booked it for us - very handy as we don't speak Spanish.
We traveled as 2 adults and 2 children and were given interconnecting twin rooms (without asking) which was a nice surprise.
Location is perfect for visiting main tourist attractions with many bars and restaurants right outside the hotel - plus a great, authentic flamenco show just a couple of minutes walk away.
Rooftop pool was a great asset in heat of Seville summer - not huge but plenty of room to cool down in.
Recommended. - 30-Aug-2007 A very convenient location, though quite difficult to reach by car if you don't know the city. The room, 304, on the third floor was facing the street, but there was surprisingly little noise from the street. The view was to the roof of the neighboring building, and you could watch the laundry drying in the hot sun.
At the low season price of 70 euros + VAT, this double room would be a good deal, except for one important minus. The noise isolation is OK between the rooms but non-existent between the corridors and the rooms. As the floors are in the Sevillan style, made of marble, you hear every step and everything that is said in the corridors. If you happen to have Spanish neighbors (as we did) who use the corridor as a public space and as a continuation of their room, don't forget to pack your ear plugs. This would be a very nice and convenient hotel without this noise problem, and good price/quality in Sevilla at 70-90 euros.- 19-Jul-2007 Excellent Hotel, wonderful location - slap bang in the historic quarter, just 2 minutes walk to the cathedral!. Rooms are airconditioned, clean and come with a nice bathroom. The roof top swimming pool and bar give excellent respite from the Sevilla midday heat as well as a spectacular view of the city. Service was excellent - I left my cell phone in my room (stupid me!!), but the hotel are arranging to DHL it back to me as we speak. Very happy with choosing this hotel for my weekend in Sevilla.- 12-Jul-2007 |
