The persons at the front desk were very cheerful and fast in their service, just what I needed after a tiring, much delayed flight. My room had been upgraded to a suite, which was luxurious and beautifully furnished. I only regret that I was too busy to enjoy the restful environment and comfort the suite offered, as I was attending a conference at the nearby (and far more expensive) Drake Hotel. I am a very light sleeper but had no problem with the kind of noises either from inside the hotel or from the outside that I have often experienced at more expensive four and five-star hotels. In short, I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Seneca and will not hesitate to stay there again during my next trip to Chicago.- 29-Oct-2007 Very disappointed that there were renovations going on in the hotel lobby and not been advised. Rooms very tired and not in great repair. The one thing about the hotel is that the location is great. Staff on our first days stay very rude and on the second time we stayed were better. We stayed there twice within 10 days.- 01-Aug-2006 |
