 The location is fantsastic, the communial rooms look very classy, but as for the rooms the heating wasn''t working (the first time we were there), it took two days for a radiator to be put in our room. The second time we went hangers were missing and they put the aircondition unit in the wardrobe hence we had no room for our clothes and shoes. The bathrooms'' taps are positioned wrongly, and all of them need revamping. The clothes hook at the back of the bathroom door was broken off, the telephones were unable to give us an outside line, although a repairman came, he just looked and said " It doesn''t work". On both occassions we came we had to ask for a minibar to be put in the room, which i think should be in with the basic necessities.- 20-Dec-2006 Booking and payment was on an Executive room but room given was Standard. Young lady at reception was not very helpful and we were unable to change to an Executive room. We have been staying at the Selfridge over the last ten years and know the difference between the Executive and Standard room.
