Schlosshotel Wilhelmshoehe is located in Europe's largest mountainous Park, at the foot of herkules the famous landmark of kassel and scene of the well-known waterworks.

The onsite restaurant is tastefully furnished in bistro style and light warm colours. The restaurant also leads on to a terrace, which is open in the summer.

 The hotel is nowhere near 4 star. I was assigned a room without a fridge, few bathroom amenities except for a container of liquid soap. The location is not very good unless your primary reason is to visit the museum and park next door. It is a good 10 minute walk uphill from the last tram station to the hotel.
