Location
The property is located in Europe's largest mountainous Park, at the foot of herkules the famous landmark of kassel and scene of the well-known waterworks.

The bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped with a host of in room amenities. Part of the rooms have a spectacular view of the city of Kassel.
Restaurant
The onsite restaurant is tastefully furnished in bistro style and light warm colours. The restaurant also leads on to a terrace, which is open in the summer.

 The hotel is a bit away from the center of the city. If you want to visit, take a cab.
The room is very nice and has everything, but the beds are a bit hard. The bathroom has everything you need.
The hotel has a very safe parking place.
The restaurant's got a good menu, but if you want something else, there's a nice restaurant 1 kilometer walking down which has a giant rarities whisky collection (part of the "Hessische Rundfunk" studios). Nearby there's a big health spa (Therme) with waterslides, saunas etc, opened everyday till 23:00. It also has the nearest cash machine.
There's a park close to the hotel. Some monuments to visit are nearby (Hercules, Schloßmuseum Wilhelmshöhe).
The personell is very nice. Could get drinks at my room very late.
Breakfast was more than outstanding. Next to the normal stuff they serve baked bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. You can even bake your own wafers if you want. - 23-Jul-2008 The hotel is nowhere near 4 star. I was assigned a room without a fridge, few bathroom amenities except for a container of liquid soap. The location is not very good unless your primary reason is to visit the museum and park next door. It is a good 10 minute walk uphill from the last tram station to the hotel.
