Location
The Scenic Circle Franz Josef Glacier Hotels are situated on the very edge of the Westland World Heritage Park. The hotel comprises of 3 distinctive wings, which are one kilometre apart. The Douglas and Graham Wings are within the Franz Josef Village, and just north of the village is the Mueller Wing, which is sited on five hectares of landscaped grounds sloping down to the river.

 The facility of the hotel is very aged and the rate is certainly overpriced- which I am able to stay in a 5-star hotel in Auckland for less, on New Year's Eve! I am also not satisfied with the location of the wing I stayed, which is farther away from the town than the main wing. Carpark is not located with easy access to the room. I am also surprised to hear that your company is charging 10% commission from them, in addition to the booking fee I have already paid- this is not a fair charge to the customers.- 04-Jan-2008 Very expensive but bit of a captive market as it's the only major hotel in a what's a small tourist town.
