Excellant but basic hotel, in good location, 20 mins drive from the airport and 15 min walk into the town centre.Staff were very helpful and polite.24hr security guards on premises. Superior room very spacious and very clean, can get quite noisy with the outside traffic if facing the main road. Breakfast/lunch/dinner is good, wide range of choice from hot and cold food.No tour desk as such, but you can negotiate a price with one of the hotel taxi drivers to take you around. Mr jackson was my loyal friend.Definately recommend this hotel and would most likely stay here again in the near future.- 14-Dec-2007 On our stay at this hotel, We felt that the staff were beyond friendlyness, and could not do enough for you. The rooms were of a sufficent size, but found that the bathrooms were very small. We would certainly recommend the hotel and will be visiting again. - 09-Nov-2007 Friendly people and atmosphere and a money exchange right in the hotel although they give about 2 - 2 1/2 Ksh less than the going rate for American dollars. One great feature is daytime and nighttime security on every floor.
Food costs are fairly high (breakfast and buffets nearly $20 American) and soft drinks are outrageous. Coca Cola is $1.50 a bottle -- 500% higher than the average cost throughout Kenya.- 19-Jan-2007 |
