This might have been an elegant hotel back in the 80's. The carpet seriously needs changing as it emits incredibly unpleasant smell that nearly knocked me out. Thanks for the 24-hour gym in the hotel, as it was my escape from the smelly room.- 06-Feb-2009 When I arrived there was a 10 minute wait in a queue to check in. Then they were unable to locate my booking through HotelClub and that took them another 10 minutes. The room was adequate, clean etc and there is a good Irish bar downstairs, but the disorganized front desk disappointed. The following day I simply left rather than bother to check out. - 14-Jul-2008 The location is not the best if one wants to easily reach by foot some restaurants, etc., but it is the closest to the UN building, if one has to go there.
The service is rather good, except that the reception sometimes seems to have too few staff.
Breakfast is not really up to 4 stars. In room-dining can be okay, but sometimes it appears as if the food had been prepared quite a while ago and just fried again, thus being dry and not so tasty (spring chicken, etc.)- 10-Mar-2008 |
