 We arrived in to Venice very late on Friday night & were given a double room rather than a twin as booked. There was no issue from the staff & we were immediately moved to the annex of the hotel a 5 min walk away and got a much better & bigger room with a bigger bathroom. We found the staff very helpful @ all times & our room was cleaned every day & we got fresh towels every day. The location was super and we were very happy with our stay in Venice.- 22-Apr-2009 Location brilliant for the train and bus stations - some decor could do with being updated but overall a great hotel- 08-May-2008 santa chiara hotel is located close to the cental bus station and beside the the water bus stop on the Grand Canal. We found it very convenient. We were accomodated in the hotel annex approx 100m from thje main hotel right on the waterfront. The bathroom and sleeping acc were just great and were cleaned daily. The Breakfast provided was substancial with a wide variety and no limit on consumtion, handy before a hard days sightseeing. Main desk staff were helpful and friendly.
