 It took a long time to register even though I had a copy of my confirmation with me, they still couldn't find any record of it. The room was very small and upon entering I saw in plain sight, a piece of chewed gum on the floor. The sheet on the bed had a stain on it.
It was extremely noisy with people partying but the hotel staff did nothing about it. We got very little sleep.
The pub attached to the hotel charged $10.00 to get in which I think is fine for people "not" staying in the hotel.
The restaurant is good but is not a family restaurant by any means.
The hotel Manager (on duty) was not a people person nor professional as he never once looked up from his computer to have any eye contact with us what so ever!
The location for this hotel is excellent if you have a function at either BC Place, GM Place or The Queen Elizabeth Theatre as they are all within walking distance although there are also other hotels within the same vicinity that would be a much better choice.- 25-Oct-2007 Unfortunatley we arrived right in the middle of a dirt bike rally located across the road. The hotel was very busy and we got little sleep as a result. The hotel staff on check in were abrupt and not very helpful which really let the hotel down. Perhaps on a quieter weekend it would have been better. - 13-Dec-2006 Could not make a reservation for a queen size bed through [the website], it had to be a double.
