 Excellent value for money considering the location, at $99.50 per night. Also, we forgot our air tickets in the hotel room, and only noticed they were missing them ten days later. Fortunately the cleaning lady had kept them in safekeeping.- 14-Jan-2008 We have stayed there numerous times. the location is very near the airport and has a free shuttle. We have traveled in the past and were permitted to park our vehicle at the hotel lot while away without having to pay the expensive private parking.
For an airport hotel, it is very good but if you do not have a vehicle, there is nothing much in the area in regards to restaurants or shops.
There is also a small pool and hot tub that is refreshing.
There was a microwave and small fridge in our room which was also very nice.
Overall, I would stay here again. The hotel price for the area is all fairly high compared to other cities but compared to other properties, it is slightly cheaper. Going through this website saved me the price of the taxes (as taxes were included in the internet price) which was about 15%.- 23-Aug-2007 The Sandman Airport Hotel was very well located. It was perfect for our early morning flight from Calgary - it's about a 10 minute drive from the airport although the hotel also has a shuttle bus service. Moxie's the onsite restaurant was a pleasant surprise - great food at great prices. The staff at the front desk could have been more friendly but it would not dissuade me from staying here again- 04-Jul-2007 |
