This hotel is good value for money, but the facilities are quite basic.
We stayed at the 6th (top) floor, where the water pressure was very poor, especially in the morning; the dribbling water was ice-cold. Also, the air-condition was left on max all the time, but we could just as well have left it off, because it made bugger all to the temperature.
The staff is friendly and the room was fairly well cleaned, but we were concerned about the hotel security. The room key was big and bulky, so you're expected to leave with reception. However, anyone could have walked in and asked for the key to the room. No one asked to see a key card or something similar. Also, the luggage room is unattended and unlocked.
Breakfast is basic. We preferred to eat out instead.
In summary, the hotel is basic, but good value for money because of the proximity to Termini.- 19-Jun-2008 As the hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the Termini, it was ideal to get to & easy to find. The reception staff were very pleasant & helpful. The rooms were spacious, although a little noisy at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and was a good start to the day. All in all we had a wonderful stay in Rome.- 13-May-2008 The Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of Termini Station. The room we had was small but clean and perfectly adequate considering one is out and about most of the time. Satff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was the same everyday and again basic but OK. No cooked food. Easy access to public transport but we walked to most of the sights quite happily. - 02-Apr-2007 |
