 They had everything we needed and more. The hotel is located very close to the subway and the star ferry.- 29-Nov-2006 Although the rooms were very clean, it probably could do with some renovation. The carpets were pretty black in places and the paintwork needed touching up, which gave the impression it was a bit grubby but it really was pretty clean. The rooms are spacious for HK standards although the hair drier was next to useless but a pretty minor complaint. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and there is a self service laundry room that was so handy. A lot cheaper than their own laundry service and convenient so you could put a load on in the morning and go back to bed! Location wise it was great, next to the Star Ferry and the bus terminal. Lots of restaurants behind the hotel and airport bus stops just opposite too. We just paid for the basic double room with a 'city' view and it was just fine. Maybe next time we'll splash out and go for the harbour view! Definitely would be happy to stay here again.- 30-Nov-2004 This top-class hotel has the best location in Kowloon - minutes walk to the Star ferry, MTR and Nathan Road. The harbour view rooms have a magnificent outlook including the lights of HK Island at night. Rooms are clean, well furnished with good facilities. The hotel shares an active YMCA function - educational facilities for all ages, an indoor pool, gym etc. The main dining room has a very good buffet breakfast, and there is a good value cafe off the foyer. - 19-Nov-2003 |
