 The direct surrounding is not very appealing (dark streets, massage parlours) but the hotel is nice and the rooms are quite good. All in all, it''s good value for the money.- 07-Sep-2005 The hotel is well located. Being down a street gives you respite from having poverty in your face. Good restaurants are a few meters from the hotel and the city area is a safe 7 minutes walk night or day.
The hotel is comfortable and the pending installation of a lift will be a bonus.
The downside was the airconditioning. The A/C was a mere air blower and we had to have a large fan to keep the room temperature somewhat bareable. A request for a room with real A/C met with the comment that all rooms had the same A/C unit. I will stay in the hotel again for its location.
