The hotel was in a very noisy location and the windows did little to block out any noise. The breakfast was really expensive for what you got and it was far cheaper and better quality if you went a few doors down to a little cafe that served pastries and coffee. The triple room was very small and not worth the money we paid for it. Our friend who had a double room on a different floor had far more space than we did.- 07-Dec-2007 Everything was fine - the rooms we had were large and very clean. The only drawback was that neither room or the dining area had any proper natural light or views of outside. The hotel has rooms that look at the windows of other rooms and the ceiling between the narrow space between the two side is glass but this only lets in some light and certainly not enough to make it that you don't need the light on in the daytime. As there was no 'outside noise' either, it felts strangly quiet and unreal. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer than the three days were were there for. The hotel itself though and the staff were very good.- 22-Nov-2007 our first impression of the hotel was very positive, lovely foyer,
on reaching our room on the fifth floor we found the carpet filthy as the lift door opened. the room was small and compact, walls needed painting, bathroom was ok apart from the shower needing attention. grout was all mildew, water leaked out onto the floor. tv had only one english channel which would not make it very amusing for children. would have liked tea making facilities. no in house entertainment or bar. we ate just one morning as it was not too appealling, toaster was broken and i had to point out to staff that the tomatoes were rotten. on the whole we were disappointed but it was cheap enough for the four nights we stayed there. it was 74€ per night.- 30-Oct-2007 |
