Location
Royal Sun Inn occupies the best location in town, nestled against the base of the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains at the wind free south end of Palm Springs.

The hotel boasts 66 guestrooms that are well equipped with numerous amenities, while the suites include the kitchen and large Jacuzzi tub.
Restaurant
The hotel does not have a restaurant, however there are several excellent restaurants within walking distance that serve a variety of delicacies. You can aslo start off your day with a delicious breakfast served at the hotel.
General
Begin your day with a hike into the Indian Canyons, or a Swedish sauna. You can aslo take a dip in the large heated pool later, which is a perfect ending to an afternoon of sun and fun at the Royal Sun Inn.

 No airport pick up, which adds $30 to the cost. Good view off the balcony of the hills. Otherwise, nothing exciting here. If you're on foot, nearest pharmacy/supermarket is 3/4 of a mile away. Local restaurants are a prime beef house which seemed pricey and a mexican place where I ate with fine atmosphere and service but only average food. I didn't had a car, so it was not that good located, but with a car you are in less than 5 minutes in Downtown.
It was a bid pitty that they heated the pool. In such a desert I'd like to swim to cool down, but that wasn't the case.
Nice lady at the hotel, very friendly and helpfull!
