 Hotel is a little obsolete, but kept clean by the friendly staff. Service can be a little on the slow side, especially in the ground floor restaurant. Location somewhat far from the main shopping areas, but perfect when working at UN ESCAP Headquarters. Easy 10 minute walk, which is a major plus, in the light of the Bangkok traffic gridlock. - 22-Jul-2008 Hotel had a small restaurant but the food was always excellent. Reliable taxi service arranged(needed in Bangkok).- 07-Jan-2008 Fabulous hotel with large rooms at least four restaurants, a swimming pool and a (small) fitness centre. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast with a mixture of American style and local dishes. Location is quite central but Bangkok traffic is so bad it still takes up to 40 minutes to drive anywhere. - 07-May-2007 |
