 The room was fine. The concierge was working through a time share so all ticket related pricing was discounted until we were told what we had to do to pick up them up. Also the concierge desk was not knowledgeable about many Disney attractions and had to look up everything related to Disney golf courses. My husband called several times and left at least 4 messages that were never passed on to my room's phone. The take-out food area was terribly expensive and at over $7 for a large cup of soup ... at least crackers should have been included.- 26-Nov-2008 MIND THE HIDDEN FEES! 8US$/day ON TOP of online rezervation as "resort fee"!? When asked for what service was that, they said it's because we reserved through a third party (Orbitz.com) and they make you sign the form right when you check in, so there is no escape...
I gave up following with Orbitz, as I expect they will say it's not their business.
Semi-clean hotel, impressive lobby but not so impressive rooms and floors. Rooms need some renovation here and there, I stayed in a Best Western MOTEL 10 times cleaner and better than this one.
Location is good, walking dist. to Downtown Disney, but only good for adults mainly, as it has only clubs and a few shops. Need a car for the parks, rent one and you will thank me!
NO INTERNET in room (forget about the SUPER DRAGGING web tv, wasn't able in a whole day to send one email). Paid one day (10US$ I think, for nothing). They offer high speed internet on first floor, in a "business" room-with a "business" charge, of course. - 26-Mar-2007 |
