A giant hotel in the centre of London, extremely well situated. Free internet and helpful staff. Wish it would be possible to not take the breakfast but it comes always included. It not so much the quality of the breakfast, which is average, but itīs a zoo down there in the morning with 1.000īs of people eating and running around.- 10-Oct-2009 Standard room comfortable bed. No air conditioning and room tended to be a bit stuffy when weather was warm.
Free internet but, available on main floor only with a bit of a scramble to find a place to use laptop as no place for internet users to sit. A second inner curtain would be good as the room I had looked directly into offices across the road.
Restaurant food ok I had breakfast and occasional dinner.
Good location for shops and tours. Staff helpful. - 16-Sep-2009 The hotel was rated as a 4 star hotel, which I cannot understand why:
- modest rooms with no mini-bar or air conditioning
- service at reception was at its minimum
- concierge service was ridiculous at luggage room: the concierge hoisted up luggage over the counter to clients, to top this, there was a 50 p fee for keeping the luggage in the storage room after check-out
- breakfast was very modest
However, there was a very good offer at Hotel Club for staying at the Royal National, this is why I chose the hotel along with its good location. - 08-Jul-2009 |
