 The Hotel is situated in a square at the Railway Station and has 9 dedicated Free Parking spaces. The other spaces are paid via a ticket machine and start at 7.00AM. If you leave your keys with the night porter he will buy you a ticket at 7AM.- 13-Oct-2007 It's a grand old British Rail Hotel dating back to Victorian times, the foyer is impressive but after that the hotel shows its age.
Breakfast and the makeshift hot buffet table is poor, as was the level of service. Training for waiting and bar staff is sadly lacking.- 22-Jul-2007 I thought the hotel was very run down and I had to change rooms 3 times due to noise levels...from the train station and the ventilation system outside the bedroom window!
