The Royal Asia Lodge Bangkok was well situated in Soi 8 just off the Sukumvit Road a popular location for both tourists and ex-pats due to the many bars and restaurants iin the vicinity. The hotel supplied a shuttle vehicle from the hotel to the sukumvit road (approximately 500 meters away) at your conveience.
The hotel rooms were very basic with poor TV channels (no BBC or CNN) most channels being in Thai. The rooms were clean and were serviced well every day and the staff were very polite at all times. If travelling on my own again to Bangkok I would stay there again due to its location.- 30-Dec-2008 A good 3 Star hotel. Some of the air cons are a bit noisey (by putting the fan on low or medium you greatly reduce the noise) but since it is at the end of the Soi, there is not much street noise. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I came back on my return trip and would gladly stay here again if I return to Bangkok.- 02-Dec-2007 |
