 I found the hotel a very nice place to stay as long as you were placed on the first and 2nd floors. We were on the ground floor in the first instance but there was no way we could open our curtains to let any light into the room. There was no privacy. we were eventually moved up to the next floor, the room was beautiful and yes, we could open our curtains.
