 Most of the staff spoke very good English and there were lots of helpful guide books and leaflets with ideas for what to do. We walked everywhere from the hotel as the Vatican was only 5km away and that was about as far as we could get in four days as there is so much to do, but the hotel is right by the main train/bus station and the buses go until late and are very cheap.
The hotel was clean and pleasant but the bed was small and not wonderfully comfortable. Also, the toilet is in the shower, which is in the corner of the room! It is kept very clean and doesn't inconvenience you though - but in a double or a twin it is advisable to be close with the person you are staying with - or make use of the sofa outside the bedroom during bathroom time!
The breakfast was good although not substantial - it consisted of a croissant with jam and a pot of tea/coffee - not worth paying extra for in my opinion, but if it comes with the room it's a nice way to start the day! - 03-Apr-2007 The location is very good, just next to the Termini Station, but in a quiet street. The room I stayed is a standard single room with a tiny bathroom, which is a bit small. The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful. And the inclusive breakfast is not bad at all. The disadvantage is that sometimes I heard the telephone ringing or the foot steps outside the door that woke me up at the middle of the night.- 25-Jul-2006 |
