 The hotel is very nice. The room is well-designed and rather big plus have a sitting-room. The breakfast is excellent with a great choice of everything. Free Internet-cafe is also appreciated. Several 'Seven-Eleven' stores are nearby, a night market is 7 min walk from the hotel, MRT Yuanshan station is 10 min walk. - 08-Oct-2007 Great hotel for the price. Rooms, amenities, service were all comparable to higher end hotels such as Landis or Evergreen. One complaint is that the hotel is located in the northeast side of town, away from shopping, nightlife, even a MRT station. Also, avoid the Combat Zone down the street, it is a sketchy place. However, given how little I paid I really don't have much to complain about. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. - 20-Jul-2007 The staff was extremely helpful at all times. The buffet food was very nice and there was a lot of choice even though there are only two restaurants in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
Also note that you can take a shuttle bus form the airport to the Imperial Intercontinental hotel for as little as 100 NTdollars(US$3)and then walk three short blocks to the Riviera otherwise you pay US45 for the hotel limo... - 07-Sep-2005 |
