The Residenza Cannaregio at the beginning was a monastery of the 17th century. In the first years of the 19th century it became a squero which was the place where they used to build gondolas; nowadays it has been transformed in a very modern and comfortable hotel.

Location
The Residenza is located in Cannaregio, one of the most authentic and picturesque areas of the city, a few steps away from the Campo De Gheto Novo, the oldest Jewish settlement in Europe and not far from Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. The hotel is easy to reach by public boats and is provided with a private access for the gondolas and water taxi on St. Alvise Canal.

To ensure all guests a pleasant stay, the large bedrooms are enriched with mezzanine floors and are equipped with all the modern comforts.

Restaurant
Al Piron Restaurant offers a good selection of typical and national courses, that could be served even outdoors in the romantic atmosphere of the inside garden. In the bar Il Grappolo, you can spend your time relaxing and tasting fine and precious wines.

General
The Saletta room, located just next to the bar, has a capacity of 30 people and is the ideal place for every kind of meetings or social events.
