A lot of traffic during the night, located at a traffic lights controlled crossing.- 25-May-2009 Don't ever go there!!! The walls are so thin, we couldn't sleep for 1 minute. We heard everything, from the cars on the street to the woman coughing two floors up. Those 2 nights in Lisbon were a nightmare. What a pity for such a beautiful city!- 29-Aug-2008 The Residencial Caravela is probably the cheapest 3* hotel you will find in central lisbon. There were noticeable amenities missing compared with other 3* hotels i have stayed in but i guess i got what i paid for. This is NOT a honeymoon suite & i would question it's star grading ! However it is clean & city centred & all i needed was an inexpensive room for a few nights. The breakfast on offer was average: one choice of cereal, bread rolls, ham, cheese, orange -not juice. No fruit or yoghurts here ! The pillows were very lumpy & uncomfortable & i had to roll a blanket to get a good nights sleep. The air conditioning was the window !! The mini-bar in the lobby was also out of lager. These are the amenities that should come as standard in a 3* but as i said- You get what you pay for ! And at £26 a night,- i did. 6.5/10.- 03-Nov-2007 |
