 On arrival at the hotel, we almost missed it, as it had scafolding covering the entrance.We were then told that it starting a refurbisment scheme. The hotel badly needs it as it is small, outdated and smelly in the hallway.. However on a good note, the staff, especially David, were very helpful and charming. The breakfast was basic with orange squash the only 'juice' offered and processed ham and cheese. The coffee was excellent, which is the norm for Portugal and the bread good. The best thing was the location. Close to the Metro and yes, everthing was clean and worked. With a good refurbishment this hotel will be very good value for money.- 14-May-2008 |
