 Ideal if you need a hotel just for the night.- 21-Sep-2009 Room very small but the price was right. - 10-Oct-2008 Hotel up a flight of stairs to entrance, then up possibly 2 further flights depending on room. No assistance with bags, no lift, very steep stairs.
Bathroom very dirty...shower probably last cleaned properly when fitted. The extractor fan didn't work hence the sauna feeling AFTER washing.
The beds were falling apart literally...wooden framed with slats....all the joints on the bed were very loose, which meant while trying to sleep there was a sense of impending doom, i expected to find myself on the floor each morning.
Breakfast was truly terrible, and i can eat anything, usually!.....sausages pink, beans re cooked +++, you can re sole your shoes with the potato cake and use the black pudding as a hockey puck!!! I kid you not.
There was some light in this disaster....the hotel WAS in Glasgow, the sheets DID appear clean and the night porter/desk man was very welcoming....he will tell you where you can get a beer for a steep £1!!! ha ha- 25-May-2008 |
