Nice hotel, actually inside the special Olympics stadium, with a bar on the top floor overlooking the stadium. Taxi journey to Bund/Pudong is about 20 minutes and costs around 30-40 yuan (RMB). Very close to the hotel is a big sightseeing bus depot, restaurants and 2/3 bars/clubs.- 27-Jul-2007 The hotel was immaculate and extremely comfortable, with very fine people staffing the place. For me, the location, a few subway stops away from the center of town, was ideal, although I understand some visitors might have reason to prefer being situated in the thick of the commercial and tourist areas.
The hotel's amenities are of the highest order; business and athletic facilities, a massage center, a dining room (where I ate only breakfasts) - all contributed to my great sense of well-being while I was in Shanghai. - 31-Mar-2007 This is a very nice hotel. The location, however, is not that great unless you have tickets to an event at the stadium. There is not much in the area in the way of restaurants (and the hotel food is not good) or shopping. The rooms are great (even the standard) and the staff is first rate.- 07-Sep-2005 |
