In spacious grounds with leisure club which i didn't use but looked ok and was popular I think with locals. A lot of conference business. Dinner 2 courses + 1 bot approx £70. Easy access to Bristol (if via bridge 50p toll in silver coin, no 50, into bin, but change booth at bridge.- 21-Jul-2008 Very tired hotel, old fashioned heating, ripped carpet. It was freezing in our room when we first arrived, had to switch the heater on ourselves. Work was being done in the foyer on the Sunday which was disturbing.
Waiter at breakfast was exceptionally good though! Also reception staff efficient.- 14-Nov-2007 |
