The "Chinese Style" room which we asked for was dingy, small and uncomfortable, plus the shower did not have hot water. Thankfully the hotel moved us to another room, not Chinese style. The room was OK, just. However our first night there was interupted by people playing ball games in the courtyad below our room until appx 1.00am. Then the following night, there was a very loud karaoke programme which kept us awake until about 2.00 am.
Members of the staff recognised this problem and in compensation, we were allowed a late afternoon checkout, which was very much appreciated.
A previous writer mentioned that the carpets needed cleaning. They were cleaned while we were there, but the results were not satisfactory. The carpets need replacing.
Would definately not recomment the breakfast. Very ordinary and cold.
The tour desk also leaves a lot to be desired, with little English spoken, and very few choices.
Location was excellent- 09-Jul-2007 Some of the staff didn't speak very much english (but they were nice), the breakfast was terrible, the hotel felt old and dirty. Can't understand the 4-star rating.- 04-Apr-2006 |
