Location
Located in the centre of Rome, between Porta Pia and the Quirinale, the Hotel Ranieri is placed very close to the Termini railway station and is only 400 metres from the Piazza della Repubblica subway station. Many of the main spots of artistic and cultural interest as well as the most important business and political centres can easily be reached on foot or with a short ride on the public transport.

General
The concierge service staffs at the hotel are always ready to assist you in booking guided tours or tickets for exhibitions and museums. During your stay, you can also visit the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Via Condotti, temple of boutiques and luxurious ateliers that are located just a short stroll from the property.
 A little out of the way, but the service was good, the rooms clean and quiet and the breakfast was nice- 03-Nov-2008 The location, service, cleanliness (esp. bathrooms) and breakfast are OK. However, I was expecting a better furnished room for that price. The room that we stayed was too small, too dark (getting no sunlight), and with old style furnitures. - 07-Oct-2008 This hotel was good for the price. It was within walking distance from Rome's main train station and close to all the tourist sites.
The guys on the front desk were very helpful with advice on buses and restaurants etc.
The breakfast was fine, served from 7-10am, although we found that if you went after 9am you had to make do with what was left. They did not seem to top up anything that had run out, the bread and pastries mainly.
The facilities in the room were basic. The hairdryer was a waste of time and there were few english channels on the T.V. However the bed was comfy, shower good and the room was quiet.
Overall the hotel served it's purpose well and I would stay here again.- 03-Mar-2008 |
