 The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the middle of La Ramblas which is in the heart of the city. The location may not be suitable for families with young children as there are a few night clubs nearby, though we went with two children and did not have any problems. The rooms were clean and the service was good.- 15-Mar-2007 The hotel is right in the heart of the livliest part of Barcelona - on La Ramblas as the name implies. We had a 2nd floor front room with a balcony overlooking La Rambla.
Breakfast was good and the room was fine - nothing exceptional, but clean, comfortable and of course a fantastic view of all life passing by beneath the windows. Main problem was night-time noise. The hotel offered us a change of room for our 3rd night [ fully booked for nights 1 & 2], but we took the decsion that we would be reluctant to lose the view. The local pharmacy sold us some ear-plugs and the problem was solved!
We would be happy to stay again, but would probably try to get a room on one of the high floors [8 or 9].
- 29-Oct-2004 Over all the hotel was fantastic, few little problems but nothing major and not dealt with straight away, i.e a light blub out in the bedroom. Would recommend guests to try for a room with a window, otherwise you could end up with a frosted glass & a brick wall. But on the whole l would recommend the hotel to any one & when we go back i will book with them again- 10-Nov-2003 |
