Location
Ramayana Resort Koh Chang is situated in Klong Prao, 30 minutes drive from the Trat Airport. Once here, visit Bang Bao fishing village, go shopping, and most of all enjoy the popular marine activity at the neighbouring islands, which are easily accessible by speed boat. The resort has a private beach with a great sundeck terrace and numerous beach activities such as kayaking, volleyball, scuba diving and snorkelling.

 The grounds of the hotel are great, the rooms are very well presented and a good size, however, the bathrooms are a bit of a dissapointment. Whilst on the whole the majority of the staff were extremely polite and courteous there were moments when where we felt a little let down. There are a number of add-on's which we also felt were a little over-priced, one of which are the cars into town, which are essential until you find out that you can flag them down in the road for a 3rd of the price- 02-Dec-2007 Welcoming was wonderful at this place. Saying there will be a cart runing from room to front lobby all night all but around 1 am on one night I had to walk back to my room. I even have to open the guard rail to get in the parking lot myself. NO security!!! Bathroom very bad, not separate bath and shower, all wet in the bathroom. No place to hang your cloth or put your bath kit in the bathroom. Thin towel. The shape of the bath kit given by the hotel is not so handy. Small bottle of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel which the hole of the bottle is sooo tiny you couldn't get anything out. Water run so little. Breakfast not so good, not much of selection to choose for. Location is OK but no beach front. Great garden land scape. - 05-Nov-2006 |
