 By car the location was ok (+ free parking) but otherwise it was not very close to the center of Monterey. Basic motel/hotel, but they served a good breakfast. Only minus is that it finishes already at 9 am (on holiday that's early!) and everything was disposable, maybe normal in the US but definitely not ecological.- 21-Mar-2008 Enjoyed our brief stay. Check-in was quick, courteous and our room was larger than expected. Air-conditioning was very nice, considering the outside temperature was over 40'c/104'f. Complimentary continental breakfast included fresh muffins and assorted danishes, apples, oranges, bananas, toast, cereals, milk, juices, and coffee - and, even at 8:30 (2 hours after breakfast began) there was a wide variety.
