 In centre on town, close to transportation, trams, shopping, etc. The hotel has a quiet international atmosphere, and the staff is friendly.We had an unpleasant experience. The "turn-down service" forgot to close the door to our room. The door was left open. (My reason for giving this hotel only two stars). The security/manager on duty, told me that this will never happen again. The bathroom are rather small and "rustic", but the water pressure (hot/cold water) is better than most CN hotels. I recommend the Loon Yuen restaurant (Cantonese cuisine), the service is swift and courteous, food is great. I will stay here again, but will request a room without connecting door. - 07-Sep-2005 I was impressed with the hotel facilties and front desk staff; they were extremely helpful when offering directions to various stores, and entertainment sites. Unfortunately, I found the restaurant staff very unfriendly and not appropriate for a first class hotel.- 07-Sep-2005 My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Harmony Hotel in Beijing. The location of the hotel was within easy walking distance of some great shopping as well as some very good dining. The staff were very friendly and helped us whenever we required assistance.
