 we did not eat at the hotel but some of the party we were with did and commented that breakfast was poor value for money.
i do recommend staying there and i would go back if i was heading in that direction again.- 29-Jul-2008 We have stayed at this hotel twice in the last couple of months. Although very nice, we found the staff on the front desk very unwelcoming. Also on both occasions they failed to tell us anything about the facilities the hotel offered.- 23-Jan-2008 Very disappointing all round. Not so close walking distance to the town centre as we were told by the hotel before booking - 25minutes walk rather than 10 minutes. Some of the rooms previously allocated to smokers still in need of serious fumigating!
Huge problems with hot water system throughout the hotel - no temperature controls on showers which fluxate instantly from scalding hot to freezing cold. A known problem to the hotel but no warnings given or it seems any urgency to rectify. Bizzarre process for ordering a cooked breakfast - allow plenty of time if busy!- 22-Aug-2007 |
