 The bathroom was well equipped but as it was a wet room style, it did stay quite damp for quite some time, so it did smell damp.
We had a three course meal in the restaurant, the starter and pudding were fab, but the main course (turkey and roast potatoes) were not so fab. The turkey was a little pink, and the portion was much too big (a large breast, when a few slices would have surfice - I know this sounds like a good thing - but having too much meat on the plate - does put people off). Plus gravey should be served on the side too, not everyone likes (lots of) gravey. The roast potatoes were very hard and not freshly cooked.
We enjoyed our stay overall, and would rate the hotel clean and average. Saying all that, the price and location are ideal.- 10-Dec-2008 |
