 The hotel is easy to reach by car from DFW airport. There’s a courtesy bus that collects you on demand with no more than a 10 minute wait. An express bus service operates hourly (every 30 minutes at peak times) departing one block away and takes you to the centre of Dallas in 50 minutes (change buses at North Irving Transfer Station). Price there and back is just $4.50. You can also reach Fort Worth for the same price but the journey time is a little longer. The hotel will happily stow your luggage after checkout while you take a day trip to the city after a one-night stay. Despite its location, the hotel is quiet. You can eat cheaply at Denni’s diner across the road or get a more upmarket meal at an adjacent hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with TV and Pay Movies plus phone with free local calls. Breakfast is basic but complimentary and the hotel staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. For a brief visit the hotel is highly recommended. - 07-May-2006 |
