 This is a good airport location within walking distance from terminal ( which is busier than you might expect in a regional location). The hotel is of modern appearance but comfortable and clean. The non smoking room had definitely been smoked in but the hotel was happy to arrange a different room. Overall, perfectly adequate for airport hotel. - 16-Jul-2007 The Carlton have got it just about spot on - friendly staff, efficient and the hotel is really comfy. It's my hotel of choice in Dublin and I've tried a few.
Thanks- 15-Jan-2007 We arrived at the hotel at 21.30, having not eaten since lunch we asked if there was any possibility of getting some food, we were advised to go straight into the bar and ask. The barmaid was extremely helpful and rushed into the kitchen to check, much to our relief we were served.
The whole experience of staying in this Hotel Cork was wonderful. The room was very clean and tidy, the shower had decent temperature and water pressure (a point that is usually disappointing in most hotels) the bed was extremely comfortable and spacious. We would definately recommend the hotel and look forward to returning to the hotel in the future.
The staff probably don't hear when the customers are pleased with their service and I hope you could pass on our appreciation of their professional yet friendly service, along with their warm smiles - not often seen either in hotels!
