The Radisson SAS Altstadt Hotel is located in the historical centre of Salzburg providing the best location. All major sightseeing attractions and shopping areas are within walking distance of the hotel. The colourful history of this landmark building can be traced back as far as 1377 which was formerly one of Salzburg's oldest Inns.
Rooms
The hotel has comfortable guestrooms that are individually appointed with much care and attention to detail. Most of the rooms face the river Salzace and the Monastery or the fortress, Hohensalzburg.
Restaurant
You can dine at the onsite restaurant that serves a variety of delicacies, overlooking the Salzace River.

A well equipped business centre is available for people travelling on business purposes. Public recreational centre with sauna, massage, indoor swimming pool and physiotherapy are all within 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

 The drinks availability in the bar wasn't great - they didn't have Vodka, or mixers like 7 Up or Sprite, which we found unusual. The restaurant was being renovated - which might have been the reason.
